Badlands South Dakota

This is Lizzie, my best friend. We went on a little bike ride on the narrowest bike trail you can imagine. We kept falling over. It really toughened us up.

The Badlands are such a pretty sight. Although you may get rocks in your shoes, it is worth it.
The sun was bright and the rocks were hard and sharp. They could give way at any moment.

This was when we were coming back from playing on the rock fields of Castle Trail. I’ll never forget exploring the Badlands with my friends.

I love my new friends

The first time I met my new friends was at Thrilling Thursday Homeschool Co-op Class.  A quiet girl from up North was my first impression of Lizzie.  My first impression of Cricket was a Mermaid girl that was into spiders.  I had already known Astrid, she is pretty awesome.  It was at my friend Maya’s house.  I was new to homeschooling.

The first time we actually really became friends was at a Park Day.  We built tree forts and I was one of her Palace Guards in the game.  Now we’ve been friends for awhile and here is a picture of me and her at tower grove park.img_3080

We have this thing called park day. It’s where lots of homeschoolers come to play at a fun sunny park on Wednesdays.  Here’s a picture of us at park day with our best friends.img_4100It’s very fun at park day.

Birthdays with Unicorn

This is my cousin Esmee’s birthday, she got a unicorn. A unicorn if you don’t know is a horse with a “horn”.

This is Roan’s first time ever riding a Unicorn. He kinda likes this birthday. He wants you to know that he is not interested in the horn, if it had been painted the same color as it’s skin he would have been more impressed. He liked the rainbow mane and white skin. He also kindof likes X’s, F’a and O’s, but that is another topic for another day.

Here the horse is thinking, ” I am pretty annoyed with all these “flies” riding me!

This is my cousin Esmee. The one with the horn… wait not the unicorn. Oh never mind.

Cookie Dough meet Grass

Grass meet Cookie Dough. This is my hamster, Cookie Dough also known as Cookie Dough Fuzzy Butt Long Bottom. He has never been outside before, it was my idea to take him out because I wanted him to see the world. Hamsters don’t live that long which is pretty sad. He loved it outside, making little nests where he’d groom himself, ate grass and leaves and everything else he found on the ground.

Hamsters aren’t that fast. He is more slug than Hamster but not so slimy. His attempts to escape don’t go so well. Better luck next time, Cookie!

Our house is the summer hang….

When it gets warm out, oh boy do my friends start coming over. And those friends of my friends! And of course, my brother. They mostly like playing with blocks, listening to songs on my computer, and playing with foam weapons and costumes.

I love having my friends over and I love meeting their friends. First when I got to my friends Tristan and Logan’s house, a girl named Alexis arrived at the exact same time as me. So we started with Alexis, Tristan, and me, and then Logan knocked on the door and my Mom said “come on in, but be warned there is a dance party in the living room.”

Then Keeshon came over looking for Tristan and Logan.

It was a real people playdate!
